  • Discuss:

    • How high do you think the Himalayas reach?

    • Make a mountain shape with your arms and stretch up into the sky!

    • Imagine your ideal mountain range – how would it look and how tall would it stand?

    • Notice how you might feel at the bottom of the mountain and right at the top?

Processing Activity

  • Discuss:

    • How are you feeling?

    • Explore your favourite part of the story?

    • Do you associate more with the climber, the observer or with nature itself?

  • Make your own piece of art to capture your ideal mountain range from the activity above

  • How about using egg boxes turned upside down and paint them green and brown?
